PMA 30/15, positioning, Morzine Haut Chablais

 

I participated this Sunday! June 21st in the Morzine Haut
Chablais 2015 on a new 90 km/2400mD+ course (2200 actual). The Joux
Plane pass being closed for the season! the organization made us take the Ramaz pass! the Encrenaz pass to return to Les Gets! the finish of this
edition. Very good thing in my opinion! because in 2014 I had found the PMA 30/15 long crossing between Taninges and Joux Plane interminable
on a road far too busy
with cars for a cyclosportive.

This route kept us

on small! isolated roads! which was all the more reassuring! The
start was given under a very threatening sky c level executive list despite the weather forecast which had PMA 30/15 been predicting good weather
for several days!… I even took a good soaking in 10-degree weather to
reach the start! coming down from Les Gets! where we were staying…

I meet Manu (VO2 cycling) and Yoann (cycles and
fitness client) on the starting line.
I’m pretty confident about my form since the
last training sessions were good with a small PMA cycle in 30/15 over a few
sessions giving a good little boost over 10 minutes and very well tolerated this time.

Finally
! I also changed my position a week ago. Indeed! and after
studying the video! it would seem that I was pedaling a bit too far back with the analysis
of the knee/cleats/pedal alignment in action and not static. The PMA 30/15 sessions having been carried out with this new positioning! the power was in any case there. It was still going
to be a surprise to see if I held this position for 3 hours of
racing.

The start is given on a wet road and the descent

towards the Vernaz coast does not allyson overmier manager! hr shared services reassure me with all these people. I try to
maintain my position at the front but the arrival in the gorges! just before the
hill! cuts my legs with a cyclist who lies down in front of me. I
narrowly avoid him but the stress rises to a maximum… it is not easy to remobilize
to go all out having already lost the race lead before having
started and I will not succeed… stuck at 305/310 watts clean email no way to find
my legs.. It is still infuriating… whereas I had bet on 320/330 watts
possible as my unblocking 48 hours before suggested.
