The Digital Services Act (DSA) has overcome the last hurdle as it has been definitively approved by the European Union . Following the approval of the European Parliament last July, the European Council has now ratified this regulation that addresses the security of electronic commerce. This update is the first since 2000 of a law whose purpose is to protect the digital space against the dissemination of illegal content and guarantee the protection of the fundamental rights of users in Europe.
